Site Inspection and Handover of the Completed Area 1 Road Project.
A significant milestone was reached today at the Old Federal Secretariat, Area 1. The completion of the Area 1 road, stretching a notable 1.3 km, by Interglobal Construction Limited was successfully handed over to the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA).
Today marked the crucial event of a site handover and inspection of this finished road project. The inspection team present was from the FCDA, including the Chairman of the inspection team, Engr. Nasir Saidu, and other engineers representing various departments within the FCDA. Their role was to formally review the completed work. Notably, providing invaluable guidance and support on site during the project was Engineer Joshua from the FCDA team, whose assistance was described as being very much appreciated.
The inspection itself focused on the quality of the completed work, particularly the road surface. The assessment delivered a highly positive outcome, with the key finding being that the road surface is according to the standard. This positive result led to clear satisfaction among the inspectors; the members of the inspection team are happy and satisfied with the completed work.
This successful handover and positive inspection brought commendation for Interglobal Construction Limited, acknowledging the quality of our work on the finished project. Following the inspection, Mr. Colm Doyle of Interglobal Construction extended thanks to the members of the FCDA team who attended. These included representatives from the Department of Facility Maintenance, the Department of Procurement, and the Department of Engineering Services, who were thanked for finding time to come and participate in the review. Further appreciation was also conveyed to the Interglobal team today and the Engineers on site for their well-done job.
The successful outcome of this inspection and the positive assessment of Interglobal Construction Limited’s performance hold significance for the future. There was an assurance expressed for continued partnership, built upon the strong performance demonstrated on this finished project. The formal process concludes with plans for a report to be made appropriately to the authority, documenting the successful handover and inspection.
